Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZI 7165 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Before installing and using the appliance, ensure you understand all safety warnings. This includes checking for transport damage and ensuring parts of the refrigerant circuit are not damaged.
Install the appliance away from heat sources such as radiators and direct sunlight. Position it with a gap for ventilation, and ensure it is close to a wall but not against it, to allow for airflow.
Make sure the appliance is earthed. If the plug is not suitable for your socket, cut it off and fit an appropriate one. Remove the fuse from the cut-off plug.
The appliance should be left for 2 hours after installation before turning it on, allowing the refrigerant to settle.
Before first use, clean the inside with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents or abrasive products.
Use the thermostat to set the temperature. The intermediate position (3-4) is usually most suitable. Avoid setting too low to prevent continuous motor operation and ensure proper defrosting.
For best performance, avoid storing warm food or evaporating liquids. Wrap food to prevent strong flavors from affecting other stored items.
Snap the vent grille and hinge cover into place, and fasten the appliance using the screws provided.
